Charme Williams is a licensed professional counselor. She has over 13 years experience in the human service relations field. Mrs. Williams served as an educator for 5 years and later became a health professional. Mrs. Williams graduated with a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University. She also has experience in serving as a Direct Care Supervisor and Clinical Director at mental health agencies. Charme has worked with a range of clients including children, adolescents, young adults and families. She has a passion for helping others and lives by the motto that nothing is impossible when you set attainable goals and work towards them. Charme and her husband, Darrell is a long-time resident of Shreveport, Louisiana and is the mother to three sons and four daughters, of which one is currently the 87th Ms. Southern University A&M-Baton Rouge. They are active members of the First Baptist Church of Cedar Grove in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mrs. Williams opened the LaPlace office in hopes to fill a need for community based mental health in the Greater New Orleans Metropolitan area.
